As of May 3,2011 our new home will be at the Heritage Universalist Unitarian Church at 2710 Newtown Road in Anderson Township Ohio. We are very excited about our move and hope you will be too!
Welcome to Ahn Taekwondo of Anderson Originally developed as a means of self-defense, Taekwondo has developed into a competitive sport while still retaining the traditional background that martial arts are known for. The Korean martial art of Taekwondo literally translates to "the way of striking with hand and foot."
Benefits of studying Taekwondo include improved physical condition, confidence, and discipline. After years of training, the entire body can be used to defend against attacks from any direction or height. Techniques learned in Taekwondo are used in sport competition, demonstrations, and in life-threatening situations. Ahn's of Anderson, a family oriented Taekwondo school located at 2710 Newtown Road, Anderson Township, Ohio,(at the Heritage Universalist Unitarian Church) is member school of Ahn Taekwondo Institute. The Ahn organization is dedicated to continuing the excellence in Taekwondo taught by Grandmaster Ahn, Kyongwon, (9th DAN Kukkiwon certified). We continue the tradition of teaching traditional Taekwondo and self defense. We place a strong emphasis on developing respectful, disciplined students. Classes include children and adults of all skill levels. We encourage families to study together. Students receive individualized attention with their training from the many black belts at Ahn's of Anderson. The black belts receive continued training through monthly classes at the main school which are led by Grandmaster Ahn or the senior Masters (7th DAN) each month. This helps ensure cohesive training among all students of Ahn Taekwondo. Student's of Ahn's of Anderson will also have the opportunity to attend special classes, such as weapons and breaking, at the Main School, located in Blue Ash, Ohio. Students at Ahn's of Anderson will get exposure to a multifaceted enriching experience unparalled in the greater Cincinnati area. The Ahn Taekwondo system led by Grandmaster Ahn, 9th DAN, has produced over 16 Grandmasters and numerous Masters. We also have World Taekwondo Federation International Referees and Kukkiwon Hanmadang International Referees. In addition the Ahn Taekwondo system has produced many International, National and State level competitors. 2013 Test Schedule
